Maulana Sheikh NazimFor The Jewel

You owe a debt of gratitude to Your Creator. Make shukur, O son of Adam, to Who created
you, that He (swt) created you in a beautiful form, make shukur. As-Salam alaikum O hadirun.
Go ahead (and tell us) O Shah Mardan; the Sultan who is anamoured of his Creator, who is full
of love for His (swt) Habib (sas), O Shah Mardan! Dastur, madad. What is there that we are in
need to know. As-Salam alaikum O Yaran, Shah Mardan. What a beautiful Salam (greeting),
from Shah Mardan. O Yaran, O our ahbab, O who love us, may Salam be upon you. May you
be in salamat (safety). May your dunya and akhirah be happy. Go ahead O Shah Mardan, O
Lion of Allah! Address the ones who love you. MashaAllah, la quwwata illa biLlah.

O Yaran, the ahbab of Shah Mardan, who love him - there is honour for them. There is
happiness for them. How beautiful are those who love Shah Mardan. Madad O Shah Mardan.
May the weakness on us leave us. May we not be like a bald cat next to the lions. No! A lion is a
lion. It collects its own rizq/provision. A cat collects the leftovers of lions. Go ahead O Shah
Mardan - Who is the Shah of rijal (men). O Sultan, O Shah Mardan. May you give us from that
heavenly nafha, from that holy breath. May the heavenly nafha revive us. May it prepare us to
carry iman, to carry Islam, to carry the servanthood of Allah Almighty, to carry the love of His
Habib (sas). May it be a power for us so that we won't say "my body aches, I am tired...". Don't
say like this! A lion doesn't say "My head aches", does it? Not even a cat says like this. A cat
manages with the leftovers of the lion.

Go ahead O Shah Mardan, your Yaran admire you. We want power for our external body as
well as for our spiritual being. We want a power from you for our spirituality also. We want the
dress of honour from the ishq and shawq that you have (divine love and enthusiasm). Say,
Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. From the majesty of this Bismillah the Heavens were torn apart.
The Heavens opened when the Bismillah was descending. It is Azamat! What a magnificence!
When Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim was descending, the Heavens opened like this, they got
astonished! "Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Wa liLlahi-l Hamd. What is
happening?" they said. The earths and Heavens trembled. Allahu Akbar. Bismillahi r-Rahmani
r-Rahim descended from the Arsh, to His servants so that they recite it. It is the thawb of izzah,
the dress of honour. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. The heavens and earths started shaking,
quaking and fell into sajdah: "Allahu Akbar! O our Lord! You are Subhan. You are Sultan. Is it
possible to stand when Your Majestic Name is mentioned?"

The earths and Heavens shook, trembled. The whole universe started quaking, shaking. What
was happening? The Bismillah was descending. Shukur Allah, it was presented to the Nation of
Muhammad (sas). He said Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, it descended for the Nation of
Muhammad (sas). The Bismillah descended on each Prophet in a time of trouble. Prophet Adam
recited one Bismillah, alaihi s-salatu wa s-salam, and set foot on earth in safety. When he reached
safety, the Bismillah was taken from him. Prophet Noah recited the Bismillah once. He recited
the Bismillah once and stopped the whole flood. He remained safe, it didn't touch him. Prophet
Ibrahim also said Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim once and the fire of Nimrod extinguished.
Allahu Akbar.

It descended on each Prophet once, and brought them into safety. He didn't leave it with them
daima, permanently. The permanent Bismillah was granted to the Habib (sas) and he recited the
Bismillah. Prophet Solomon said it once, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim and the Queen of
Sheba turned into a cat! She had thought of herself as a lion. She trembled along with her throne
in front of the Majesty of the Bismillah! "'Innahu Min Sulaymana Wa 'Innahu BismiLlahi r-
Rahmani r-Rahim"(27:30) She fell down with her throne. He (swt) granted us such a miracle -
Allah Almighty granted to His Habib, to the Nation of His Beloved. Shame on the children of
Adam that they don't know this. They say "Let us do this, do that". What can you do? What is it
that you can do? Here, the children of Adam try to build cannons, weapons, try to generate
electricity, to make planes fly...These have no value. Did you say BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-
Rahim? If you didn't, all that you did is rubbish.

The Bismillah is the dress of honor Janab-u Rabbu-l 'Izzat dressed on the servants of the Nation
of Muhammad (sas). Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Whatever trouble there is on us may go
away from us. It is the Name of Janab-u Rabbu-l Izzat, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. We don't
need any medicine or doctors, nor do we need any planes. Every miracle is in BismiLlahi r-
Rahmani r-Rahim. Make people get accustomed to this. Listen, take this advice from Shah
Mardan! Don't strive for something else. Janab-u Rabbu-l Izzat sent to His Habib, Bismillahi r-
Rahmani r-Rahim, and to you through him so that you can succeed in everything. Neither
technology nor any other thing has any value, it is all the power of the Bismillah. Shame, pity on
the people who don't even say it once. Go ahead O Shah Mardan, the field belongs to you.
"Then say with me O my Yaran Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim and don't fear". Even if a person
who says Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim goes to hell, the fire of hell extinguishes. Allahu Akbarul
Akbar.

The zinat (adornment) of the eight paradises is Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim. O Yaran, Shah
Mardan. This way is the way of Shah Mardan. O our Lord, may You dress on us the dress of
afiyah/health, the dress of honour. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim and dress on us the dress
of honour. "Ad-dinu nasihah." Religion is advice. It teaches man whatever benefits him. Shah
Mardan teaches the Bismillah. "O my Yaran, let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. The
troubles on us may be away from us." The Bismillah, which descended for the honour of Your
Habib. Adam (as) recited the BismiLlah and set foot on earth. If he hadn't, the earth would have
swallowed Adam. But he said "Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. I recited the Bismillahi r-
Rahmani r-Rahim, which Your Habib said, which You taught him Ya Rabbi. May You forgive
us". Or the earth was going to swallow Adam. Because of his mistake the earth was going to
swallow him. "Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim". He said it and managed to stand on earth or
it was going to swallow him.

Even when he had been all the way up in Paradise Prophet Adam was going to sink into the
deepest point when he hit the earth. But the Habib called to him, "O Adam, say Bismillahi r-
Rahmani r-Rahim and stand firm". He said Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim and the earth didn't
swallow him. Otherwise the earth was going to swallow Prophet Adam. Aman Ya Rabbi.
Prophet Adam made a mistake. He was expelled from Paradise. When he came down on earth,
the earth was going to swallow him. "Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim". He said it and his feet
stayed firm. Therefore no matter how many times they make us say the Bismillah, O Shah
Mardan, the word you say is Haqq, the truth. O our Lord, it is Your Ism Al-Azam; Bismillahi r-
Rahmani r-Rahim.

May You dress on us the dress of afiyah, the dress of servanthood, the dress of honour O Lord.
We should not look to other places. O Yaran, Shah Mardan, how majestic are you. "If I
appeared with my full majesty" said Shah Mardan, "there would be no man who can stand on
earth, all would faint". Shah Mardan has not yet appeared with his majesty. Masha Allah. O
Yaran, Shah Mardan. I am weak. qawwi dha'fi fi ridak O our Lord. Strengthen my weakness to
Your Pleasure. A lion can turn into a cat if you say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. It is called
"tabasbus"- cats come and rub up against you purring like this; this is called tabasbus. If you say
(the Bismillah), giving it its due right, whatever creature there is on earth, all would run to you, to
your feet. Just as a cat runs after its owner, they all come running like this. Aman Ya Rabbi. Ma
A'zuma Shanak Ya Rabbi.

It is Rajab ShahruLlah. May the sword of Shah Mardan appear and finish the ones who crush
Your servants, finish the oppressors O Lord. May the Sultan, who will take back the rights of the
oppressed ones, come. May You grant us the power O Lord. What can we do? What we want...
"What do you want, O My servant?" "I want to be a doctor" "What about you?" "I want to be a
trader". Shame on you! Did you ever say "I want to be a servant"? "I want to be a doctor. I want
to be an engineer, I want to be a mayor..." You want straw in front of the Sultan. O nadan,
foolish one! You want straw in front of a Sultan? Shame on you! Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-
Rahim and all your doings advance, you become a lion. Qawwi dha'fana fi ridak. Say the
Bismillah and you grow stronger. Qawwi dha'fana fi ridak.

O Lord, You dressed on us the dress of Islam, honour. "Everything is for you" said the Angels of
the seven Heavens. "O children of Adam, everything is dressed on who says La ilaha illa Allah"
Say "La ilaha illa Allah" and everything is yours. "Muhammadu-r RasuluLlah (sas)". The
Beloved of the whole creation is dressing you with the greatest dress of honour. Say Bismillahi r-
Rahmani r-Rahim. "Iqra' Bismi Rabbika lladhi Khalaq"(96:1) It says "Recite the Bismillah and
read", doesn't it? Mankind cannot understand what a magnificence it is. They have become
ignorant ones. Be a lion! Be a lion! You say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim and you are no cat,
you are a Sultan. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim makes man, Sultan. Say it and don't fear. If not,
you will be humiliated.

I am Your weak servant, O Lord. "Then listen to what Shah Mardan says." He says. O Yaran,
Shah Mardan. How beautiful is what you say. What happiness and relief it gives. It teaches in a
moment what you couldn't learn by studying all these years. Say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim.
Ask for health, afiyah. For what? To make Your service, O Lord. Go ahead, O Shah Mardan.
Why do we ask for afiyah? To make service for our Lord, not to run after dunya. May our hearts
be purified. May our faces be enlightened. May we be dressed with Nur. Let us say Bismillahi r-
Rahmani r-Rahim. Go ahead, O Shah Mardan. The whole world trembles from your majesty.
The unbelievers built cannons and will fire them. The unbeliever's cannon will explode on his
own head before it moves. They think we are easy.

I am a weak servant but Shah Mardan is our Sultan. A power comes on us, Nur comes on us.
Honour comes on us. Dunya is under our feet. The sky is above our heads. O our Lord, we make
sajda to You. We want to live for making sajda to You. Shame on the people who strive for
dunya. What do you live for? Say, "I live for Allah. I live for the service of my Lord, not to collect
straw". Ya Rabbi You sent us Shah Mardan. We should learn (from him). We wait, we want the
Sahibu-l Waqt (s. Mahdi) who is from the line of Shah Mardan.

Once upon a time... In the old times they would travel by ship. Traders, passengers would all
travel by ship. So a ship started its journey. It started its journey and was sailing before the wind.
After a while something came out. An outcry broke out. "What happened?" "The Sultan's most
valuable jewel is stolen". "How can this happen?" "Well, it happened". "What will we do now?"
"Let us search everyone on the ship and take it back from whoever we catch with the jewel".
They searched all of them but couldn't find it. Finally, there was a dervish man. He was sitting
like a miskeen (helpless) person like this. They asked "Who is left that we didn't search?" "This
one is left". "Let us search this one too". "Don't search me." he said. "We will search." they said.
He said "Ok. Since you will search me, step back, open up". From the edge of the ship, he said
Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Saying Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, he disappeared walking
over the sea as if it was a paved road. "You accused a poor man like me. I am not the man you
are looking for. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim". Reciting the
Bismillah on the sea, he walked off.

The miracles of the Bismillah are endless. Say the Bismillah and don't fear. Treasures open for
you. But we don't live for treasures. What is said for those who live for treasures? Wayhak.
Wayhak! Shame on you. You run after the treasures of dunya but you don't turn toward Rabbu-l
'Izzat Who is the Owner of them. Shame on you. Wayhak. Pity on you. Here, the people fell
down so low like this. Be Man, and be a Sultan. Rabbu-l 'Izzat dressed Man in the dress of
Sultanate. Our Shah Mardan, go ahead and say. O Shah Mardan, all admire your speech. All
admire your advices. Accept us O Sultan. Say this and march. You can walk on the sea. You can
fly in the sky too. But people forgot the way. Shaytan cheated them, made them corrupted,
dishonorable - saying, "you will be this, you will be that." Don't say "I will be this, I will be that".
Say "I will be a servant to Allah". For what do you live? "To be a doctor". Spit on you and on
your doctorship. Why don't you say, why don't you teach - "I will be a servant to Allah". For
teaching, at the very beginning they would make the children say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim.
They would teach all the children like this.

Shame on the people of this time that they fell short of humanity; they even fell short of the
animal level. "'Ula'ika Kal 'An'ami Bal Hum 'Adallu" (7:179) (Like cattle or even less.) Who runs
after dunya is like an animal, maybe even less than them - they have become like trash. O our
Lord, what can we do? We are weak, qawwi dha'fana fi ridak. O Shah Mardan, go ahead and
speak. We ask for a cure for our every trouble. Even if you can't be, try to be like, so that you can
be as "Man tashabbaha bi-qawmin fa-huwa minhum". (Who resembles a people is of them).
Resemble the Sultans. Resemble the Sultans. But they can't do that either & they run after
shaytan. May Allah make us far away from shaytan.

Go ahead O Shah Mardan. May we be your slaves. May we learn your good manners. Say
Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Bismillahi lladhi la yadurru ma' ismihi shayun fil ardi wa la fissamaa-
i wa Huwa s-Sami'ul 'Alim. (By His Name, nothing can harm you on earth or in heavens.)
May You not take Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim, the crown of Islam, off our heads. May it be a
strength for our bodies. May we be in the caravan of Shah Mardan too. May we be enlightened
with Nur. May we gain majesty. May we at least follow the tracks of Shah Mardan's horse. O our
Lord, abdun daif. We are Your weak servants. May You forgive us for the honour of Shah
Mardan. Shah Mardan, your yaran is your admirer. May our sohbat for today be this. May it
open for us. May Allah Almighty grant us power and may we destroy the sultanate of shaytan.
And we will, bi 'amriLlah, by the order of Allah.

O our Lord, may You forgive us. Forgive us. Let us say Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Fatiha.
That man stepped on the sea and walked. A man who has such a power does not ruin his honour
for a jewel. He said, "Search somewhere else. It is not with me. I can walk on the sea." And he
walked on the sea. Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Fatiha.

For the honour of the holy Rajab ShahruLlah may this heaviness on us be lifted. Even if we can't
be a lion, we may be from those who follow the Lion. You become like this too. Don't go after
dunya.
Fatiha.
